EP: 23 Impact of a growth mindset to beat burnout.

Join me this week as I speak to Christin who was in the Airforce, then became a teacher and has just completed her doctorate, all by 30 years of age!

Christin has used her skills learnt in the military to become very organized and disciplined in order to manage her workload.

She has learnt that the only way to juggle a full time role in school plus a young child and studying is to have a growth mindset.

She asks herself what positives she can take from being asked to do an extra role or task in school, and consequently she thrives.

Her perspective on burnout is almost opposite to mine – she started to burnout form being bored and lacking autonomy. Now she has autonomy, she is thriving and loving her role again.

Have a listen and be challenged by a whole new approach to a teaching role.
